ACTOR PREPARES: the school for actors

When I came to know that there is one branch of that school is in CHANDIGARH. I was very happy and then I prepared a script of 4 pages form movie A WEDNESDAY for the audition in ACTOR PREPARES for getting admission there. I prepared a script from the movie A WEDNESDAY. 16th May 2009, i was the first person reached there on audition date. Then I entered in the hall one spot light was aiming a chair. One of three judges (Asif sir, Vikas sir and Renuka ma’am) told me to sit on the chair.

I was just shivering because that was my 1st acting audition then they started with a normal introduction and after that I was told to start my script, I started and I forgot my script after 2nd paragraph. My body was vibrating then Vikas sir said that “arey nervous mat ho yaar ye koi movie ka audion thoda h jo itna ghabra rha h.” I even forgot my guitar’s name that I used to play. Then I told them that I have a minor fracture in my left leg’s thumb. They said that then it will be like impossible for you to take admission here because there are dance classes, yoga classes, aerobics, and that can harm my leg and then I replied that I will manage sir but I want to be a part of this institute. After that THANX and I was out of the audition hall. Reached Rohtak and was disappointed. And then the next day I got a call from Jyotika ma’am and I was got selected. Yepppiiiieeee………

31st may I went to Chandigarh and took a room on rent in GULSHAN auntie’s PG (Some great experiences at that place). We six students of same batch were in the same PG. First I met Navi because he was the only guy who was there on 31st May remaining came on 1st June. On 1st June we all selected students reached our school at 10 a.m. I entered in the hall and our teachers were there. Asif sir, Vikas sir (Acting teacher) balvinder sir (yoga teacher) and Jyotika ma’am Administrator. Then I came to know that 14 candidates were selected out of which 11 had taken admission. And there was only one girl in ten guys named Tasveer Sohi and guys were Ashish Dangi, Hridhaan Dhillon (Harry), Aman Randhawa, Vipin, Omkar Dhaliwal, Kartik, Navinder (Navi), Vikas, Rohit, Sougandh. We all were sitting in front of them and then Vikas sir said “un baccho ne bhi admission le liya jinke pair(leg) tute hue the” and smiled towards me and I replied with a smile.
